A legal disclaimer

Murat Design ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the digital personal data of individuals in a lawful, fair, and transparent manner, in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). We act as the Data Fiduciary regarding the personal data we process.

Personal Data Collected and Purpose of Processing

We only collect personal data necessary to provide our bespoke architectural and design services. This collection is strictly for the lawful purpose of initiating, executing, and fulfilling a design project contract or responding to your specific inquiry.

Notice and Consent (Mandatory Requirements)

The processing of your personal data is based on your informed consent or for legitimate use (as defined by the DPDP Act) related to fulfilling our services to you.

  • Consent Affirmation: By submitting the contact form, you provide your free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous consent to the processing of your personal data for the specified purposes outlined above.

  • Data Minimization: We limit the collection of your data to only those items necessary for the stated purpose.

  • Withdrawal of Consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The process for withdrawal is detailed in the Grievance Redressal section (Section 5). Upon withdrawal, we will cease processing your data unless required for compliance with a legal obligation.

Data Principal Rights (Your Rights)

As the Data Principal, you have the right to control your personal data. You may exercise these rights by contacting our Grievance Officer:

  • Right to Access: You may request a summary of the personal data we process and the processing activities undertaken.

  • Right to Correction & Completion: You have the right to request the correction, completion, or updation of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data held by us.

  • Right to Erasure: You may request the erasure of your personal data when the purpose for which it was collected is no longer being served, or upon withdrawal of consent.

  • Right to Grievance Redressal: As detailed in Section 5.

Obligations, Security, and Retention

  • Data Accuracy: We make reasonable efforts to ensure the personal data processed is accurate and complete, particularly where it is used to make decisions regarding your project or is disclosed to others.

  • Security Safeguards: We implement reasonable security safeguards and technical and organizational measures to prevent personal data breaches, loss, or unauthorized processing.

  • Retention and Erasure: We will retain your personal data only for the duration necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected (e.g., project negotiation, contract fulfillment) or as required by law. Once the purpose is no longer served, we are obligated to erase the personal data.
