Uniting the Story of Sundance

Problem
Founder Robert Redford defines Sundance as the place where art, nature and business meet. He asked us to create an online platform that would rebuild this union, and develop digital branding that could consolidate all Sundance entities (Sundance Film Festival, Sundance Institute, Sundance Cinemas, Sundance Catalog, and the Sundance Channel) under one brand umbrella.

Solution
To communicate with Sundance’s audiences in a new way, we built a digital identity that could strengthen the bond between different entities and Sundance Institute. We created a distinctly inspirational and natural tone of voice and crafted the online presence with abstract design and animations—powerful elements to deeply inspire visitors to Sundance.org.

Result
Nature, art and business came together in an inspiring interactive experience. The online platform became a storyteller for the Sundance brand.
